Coyote Soccer Opens Season Today

The Lady Coyotes are on the road today as Cerro Coso Women's Soccer opens the 2018 season. Cerro Coso will be visiting Antelope Valley College to take on the Marauders with a 5:00pm kick-off.

Cerro Coso will be lead by All-Central Valley Conference player, Makaylee Garcia-Moore as well as returners Estefany Partida, Lizbeth Rodriguez, Chandler Petrovich, Grace Haddock, and Marvela Santos. Joining these returners is host of first year players that is assembled of regional talent and local talent. The Coyotes are coming off of a 2017 season that served as a building block leading into this fall, as the 2017 squad was able to put together some key victories on the field became a team that opponents could not take lightly.  That team was lead by returning head coach, Egmont Cervantes. Coach Cervantes will be joined this fall by assistant Bradley Battung and together they have made tremendous strides in the continued building of the Cerro Coso Soccer program.
