With a second-place finish in the IEAC, ending the season with a 23–16 overall record and a 16–8 conference record, Coyote baseball now prepares for the playoffs. The format is eight Southern California baseball regional sites with 24 SoCal teams selected, as announced this past Sunday. Cerro Coso is placed in the Santa Ana College, regional bracket. The three-team, double-elimination format will begin on Friday 5/1 at 11am as Cerro Coso will face off against Orange Coast College.
