Drullinger comes to Cerro Coso by way of Austin, Texas where he most recently served as the Head Coach and Director of Recruitment for the Austin Horns, a premiere developmental and showcase organization.

Coyote Athletic Director, John McHenry states, "Cerro Coso Baseball has found a unique combination of skill sets with Dan Drullinger. He obviously brings an understanding of pitcher development and vision for grooming a pitching staff, but he also brings a high level of professionalism to the team which will be served well in his development of young men. We are enthusiastic about his potential with the program, and I believe that we landed a quality individual for the college and community of Ridgecrest."

Drullinger was a LHP who began his playing career at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. While there he helped the Titans win their conference and take 2nd place at the NWAC Championship. In 14 appearances, Drullinger held a team-leading 0.84 ERA. He pitched in the West Coast League where he earned a scholarship to play at Jamestown University (Jamestown, ND). After finishing his playing career, Drullinger returned to Lane to begin his coaching career as an Assistant Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, helping lead the Titans to another top conference finish and a return to the NWAC Championship. He also served as a camp instructor for the University of Oregon.

In Coach Drullinger's words, "I could not be more excited to be joining the Cerro Coso baseball program and am incredibly grateful to Coach Scott and [Athletic Director] John McHenry for giving me this opportunity. During my first campus visit I could feel the overwhelming support and dedication of the athletic department, the administration and the community of Ridgecrest as a whole. Given the vision that Coach Scott and AD McHenry have set forward for the program, I truly believe there is no better time to be a Coyote."

Drullinger holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Oregon. He is set to be married to Jennifer Weynand of Brenham, Texas this Fall.
